Having grown up outside of Cleveland, Danny moved to Alaska after a decade wandering around the mountains and canyons of the West. On most winter weekends he can be found frantically buckling his boots in a semi-plowed predawn parking lot or huddled in a windbreak waiting for visibility to improve. His passions include skiing above inversions, careful sunscreen application, and rutschblock tests. With a background in natural resource management, public land law, and adaptive skiing, Danny is passionate about building a snow-focused community in Southcentral Alaska. When not skiing, Danny works for the State of Alaska ensuring public access to the vast network of trails and rivers that we call home.
