Drove through Turnagain Pass between 5 – 6pm. No new activity was seen and chatted with a few groups and no obvious signs of instability were observed. The melt/freeze crust along the road level was soft and insupportable to boots. Several riders reported punching through the crust with their sleds starting around 3pm. Instability showers and patches of sun and clouds were reported all day.
