Route & General Observations

Road obs to check out recent snowfall at the Pass before the next storm system impacts the area. Turnagain SNOTEL is not reporting.Trace of new snow at road level. DOT RWIS (1020′) picked up 1″ SWE from the 11/13-11/17, estimate 1′ of new snow above 2500′. Lots of grass and rocks exposed below 2500′. Evidence of scouring from the strong easterly winds on 11/15-11/16.
