Snow surface along the road corridor is unsupportable. Warm temps combined with
cloud cover helped to weaken the upper layers of the snowpack. This combo was
not present before (during period of high pressure with clear skies). Cloud cover is a key ingredient in preventing refreezing of
the surface snow.
No new avalanche activity observed
