Avalanche: Turnagain
Location: Turnagain Pass

Avalanche Details
Many natural avalanches from overnight and morning hours surrounding Turnagain Pass. All but one looked to be within storm snow. The one that wasn't is the one detailed with dimensions above. It was around 700-1000' below Tincan Proper peak on the SW aspect, looked to release near the ground. No photo unfortunately. Very wide crown up to 1000' wide. Depth unknown, possibly 3-4', total snowpack depth.
Tincan storm slabs: We could see three storm slabs that released sometime before 10am on the SW face of lower Tincan, under Common Bowl. Marginal photo attached through binos.
Seattle Ridge - almost all chutes and guts avalanched on SE face of Seattle Ridge, within storm snow. Some slabs propagated up to 250' wide, but most were in the 20-100' wide range. None seen on Repeat offender, but light was poor...
