Visibility was poor but there were several clearing periods and no signs of activity were seen from the upper Tincan Ridge.
Skinned through deep moist dense snow to tree line and up into deep dense snow in the alpine to the 3200′ level top of common bowl. Ski penetration ranged from 16 inches to mid thigh in all elevations.

Temps ranged from upper 20's at upper elevations to low 30's at lower elevations.
Snow and snow showers through the day with generally poor visibility.
Winds 2400' and below were light; 2800' on ridges SE at 10 - 15 mph
New fallen snow at all elevations. Lower elevations snow is thick and heavy and hard to ski through becoming less dense but still thick with elevation. Snow in alpine areas was getting some wind effect and transport.
1300' approx. 16" wet new snow
1800' approx. 18" - 20" new heavy snow
2900' approx. 20" - 28" new dense snow (pockets of wind loading)
Ski cuts on steep slopes in alpine with no results several hand pits at mid elevations with no obvious weakness (hard poor quality shears)
