Shooting cracks in an obvious wind loaded area, wind slab was small and wouldn't release.
Weather
Vis and snow showers in and out. Steady wind from the south west was felt up to 2,600. Didn't see any snow transport.
Snow surface
Minimal wind effect getting more pronounced at tree line and above.
Snowpack
There was a slight melt freeze crust under the new snow up to around 1,500. Aside from that not much to note. Pit @ 2,400, north aspect, 21 degree slope, pit depth 110cm, height of snow 170cm; CT16RP 20 cm at fist 4finger interface, CT26SC 70cm failed on older snow, ECTX. Other than the wind slab noted above informal stability tests didn't reveal much.
