Skied in the trees at Tin Can. Skiing in the trees we kicked off a soft slab in the pillows on the south end of the trees. The slab propagated about 2 meters and it looked like it failed on facets on top of some sort of ice crust.

Skier triggered wet slides were visible on Sunny Side from Tin Can (south east aspect, elevation and slope angle unknown). Popped off a soft slab at the new snow interface on top of facets and some sort of ice crust, we couldn't tell if it was from sun or rain (northwest aspect, guess the slope angle to be about 38 degrees, elevation unknown).
Sunny, warm, calm winds.
Approximately 1 foot of new snow up top. The upper centimeter or two was getting very saturated late in the day. The amount of sun affect was very aspect dependent. Snow on west aspects stayed free from any sun affect.
Pole probe tests found veryable snow surfaces underneath the new snow.
