Today saw many D1 and D2 small to medium size avalanches from new surface
slab. The most important one is the one located on Tenderfoot Ridge above the
skin track and to the right about 300yrds in first gully. Started from second
pitch making it down to about the alder patch, South/SW aspect. Was not able
to tell if it was human triggered or not but there had been some recent tracks
in the trees. Other small avalanches(natural) were seen on west and SW aspects
to the south of Summit Lake as well as other areas. (Picture was from a
different day obviously and drew in the fracture line so it is clearer where it
is). Clouds and flat light made for poor pictures. Close to where people are
skiing up 2nd pitch of ridge.
