Route & General Observations

Climber tenderfoot from standard skin track. Dug a pit on south south west facing aspect after first knob, not the normal western descent.
Overall old snow bonded well to new, basal facets are wetter.

Calm clear 20’s F
No spin drifts on surrounding mtns.

Snow surface

Loose pow varying from 6-12 inches on crust. The crust was harder in alder, breakable in pines to none above tree line. Ridge was scoured with 1-2 inches fluff to wind board.
