New wind effected snow was cracking under our skis.

Moderate-strong East wind transporting 5-10cm new snow from noon to 4pm. -1C air temp.

Snow surface

Soft wind slab forming, beginning to bond to crust.

Snowpack

Crumbly faceted wet grains under first crust failed in some tests.
