Weather

Started calm, but winds picked up dramatically around 2 pm--visible wind transport on entire Sunburst ridge.

Snow surface

New snow, wind effect at pass.

Snowpack

Dug snow pit 100' below pass on WNW aspect, 24 degree slope. CT22 SP 32 cm below surface, CT25 SP 57 cm below surface, CT29 SP 65 cm below surface. ECTX.
