9 Natural avalanches seen in the Summit Lake area. These varied in size from
class 1 to 3. Largest (class 3) was on south facing Manitoba where it had
significant propagation. Crown estimated at 250′ wide and 2-3′ deep.
Start zones were between 3000′ to 3500′ and on mostly southwest aspects. Most
crowns were around 50′ wide and 1-2′ deep. Also, lots of small pockets popped out.
