Route & General Observations

Skier triggered avalanche today on the SW side of Twin Peaks. Elevation
approximately 3000ft, SW aspect, 6 inch windslab (probably from Sunday’s wind
event). Slide was approximately 30 feet wide, ran 200 vertical feet, and
started at a slope angle in the mid 30’s. I was caught briefly, self arrested
and stopped on bed surface. No audible sounds of instability, however there was
another natural avalanche in a similar location of similar size.
