Post 2/26 Storm Observations
Several natural storm slab and wind slab avalanches on mostly SE, S, SW aspects 2500′ to 4000′. Most avalanches appear to have failed on new snow/old snow interface. One low elevation (2500′) W aspect slab failed naturally below the Valentines Storm layer on persistent weak layer on crusts.

Recent avalanches. Significant snowfall 2/26 1am- 7am = 10"-12" new snow. Temperatues increasing throughout storm resulting in upside down snowpack.
12" plus new snow recorded at IM 2/26 . Winds G16-32 SSE,S, SSW then switched to N throughout storm.
New wind crusts on many surfaces from varying winds N through SSW during and after storm. Upside down snowpack from 2/26 storm.
