Avalanche Details
Several natural wet slab avalanches reported to CNFAIC on April 1st. These are releasing near 1,500' along the many steep rollovers near the entrance to Skookum Valley and Squirrel Flats, Spencer Glacier and Grandview.
These wet slabs are 1-2' thick with one up to 800' or more wide. They are likely composed of the new snow that fell during the past 3 days (2-3 feet) and a result of rain falling on this new snow beginning Friday night, March 31st.

WET! Rain to 1,000-1,500' and possible to 1,800' at times in the past 24-hours. Light to moderate rain today, Saturday (wish this was an April fool's joke, but no....). Temperatures 37-39F at parking lots and light Easterly breeze.
