Observation: Girdwood

Skied cat track to cabin. Then toured the Notch ridge east, continued along ridge to north and then west and back to cabin. With all the wind reports we elected to stay on the ridge for a tour/route finding day.

Lots of evidence of the recent wind on the snow surface but no red flags or recent avalanches along the ridge lines we skied. We saw evidence of two separate slab avalanches at higher elevations in the large peaks to the northwest.
