Snow surface is wet in most locations and easily forms snowballs. Rollerballs were observed on all aspects today. Old wind slabs on SE through SW aspects turning into wet slabs sitting on old persistent grains.
Hand shears show easy failure with wet surface snow , failing in mid-pack persistent slab 6-10" deep. Heavy wet snow on top of lots of weak facets!
1F surface snow-wet 0-3"
4F rounding facets 3-6"
F facets- failing mid pack 6" - ground
