Route & General Observations

Skinned towards microdot and booted to a saddle lookers right. Light snow transport, light dusting wasn’t bonding well to the northeast and southwest aspects we skied. Northeast had generally consolidated powder, southeast had a stout crust.

Some gusts, grey bird day and mild temps.

Snow surface

NE consolidated powder, SW stout crust. Pockets of shallow recent snow/transport.

Snowpack

Pit: NE Aspect, 35 degree slope, 4300'. CTV resistant planar 42cm below surface, ectx. Failure on 1f/f interface. Facets about 90cm below surface.
