Route & General Observations

Toured from IMB parking lot into a white out as snowfall intensity increased up towards Marmot and Micro Dot. Very thin snowpack conditions, with rock and shrubs exposed.

10 meter shooting crack on obvious wind loaded steep slope, just what we were looking for.

HS 10-50cm. Weak strength, poor structure, high energy/propagation where previous mid-pack wind slab is present, poor continuity for old wind slab mid-pack, high continuity for basal depth hoar (8mm). 10cm light density, dry, new snow.
