Headed toward top of Manitoba via the north ridge. Checked out the north side of the summit and decided to ski an east/north east slope that looked about 27-29* steep.

After only a few turns, the snow broke completely underneath me. I rode a slab of snow for about 15 feet before exiting skiers left and getting out of the way. I put my skins back on and headed toward the ridge to make my way back up to Manitoba summit.
