Struggling to stay below freezing at 1150ft. ~ 23 degrees at 1,900ft. Low visability and cloudy clearing around 14:00 with blue skies, pink clouds and sun shine, eclipsed within 1 hr with clouds and more snow, up to 1"/hr around 17:00.
Smooth new snow, wet, heavy and lumpy to about 1900ft. Skied very nicely at 1,900ft.
At 1900 ft on a SSW aspect found:

HN 20cm
Heavy,1F from 20 - 55cm down sitting on 4F to 90cm down with buried surface hoar at 72cm down.
