Started from the highway at 11:00 and skied two laps in the meadows. Back at the truck around 13:30.

East aspects were already warm and beginning to soften when I started climbing and were supportable for most of my short day. When I was exiting below the powerlines, the snow was very warm and wet. Every turn was a challenge at the end! It didn't appear there was a solid freeze close to the highway.
The skiing in the meadows was great! The top 2" had softened and made for a fun day.
