Independence Mine Parking Lot at 1400 with light snowfall and overcast skies around 0°C.
Surface consisted of 5-7cm of fresh snow from 30OCT.
Snowpack on profile site visually displayed two distinct ice/crust layers approximately 68cm and 88cm from Base.
Snow depth at 3265ft was 113cm
Tests:
-Ski/ Boot penetration: 50/25 cm
-CT 14 (consistent with previous day at 3,700 ft)
-ECTX
A steady, medium rate of snowfall (1-2cm/ hour), with calm winds was occurring around 1600-1630.
