Observation: Hatcher Pass

Location: Hatcher Pass Proper

Route & General Observations

Independence parking lot to Hatcher Pass. Upside down snowpack 3000′ to approx. 3700′, consisting of 15 cm new snow on 15 cm dense, wet snow, on 30 cm old dry snow.

Observer Comments

ECTP14 and ECTP13 63 cm deep. At this time, on N and likely other cold aspects it will be easy to trigger this layer.
