Route & General Observations

Today light snow accumulation in past 24 hours 1-2″ new snow. Visibility was poor today. I checked yesterday and did not see any new avalanches. Wind loading from the NW.
No new Avalanches observed at Summit Lake today.
South of Tern Lake (Sterling Y) wind loading was observed south to Seward. Outside the observation area Mt. Alice near Seward had a Natural Slab avalanche in extreme terrain.

Summit Lake (Valley Bottom): Current Temp. 3F 1-2" new snow past 24 hours. Temps -2F-9F
Summit Mp 45 (Elev. 3800'): Current Temp. -6F, Winds 3-14 NW Peak Gust 17 mph.
