Observation: Hatcher Pass

Passed a small avalanche with tracks leading away from it on the way to where friendship starts to get steep. Pit at 4,650’ facing S/SW. 5 taps set off a layer at 18cm and another 8 taps sent the second layer at about 63cm.

Skied down on top of a small, breakable rain crust.
