On my way to turnagain yesterday I spotted a large avalanche on the south end of Summit. Looked to be about 200-300 ft wide in the new snow.
It was blue bird in summit and got stormier as I headed north.
While on Eddie’s yesterday weather was generally calm, snowing on and off with brief periods of sun. There seemed to be a little over a foot of new snow. During a brief period of sun, we spotted an avalanche on the sharks fin on the SW side in the new snow that looked like it was triggered from above by a cornice chunk, or smaller wind slab that propagated once it hit the wider slope.
