Rider traveling up the valley floor proceeding to shelf. Multiple small scale avalanches breaking approximately 800 feet above the rider as he proceeded up. More remote avalanche triggers due to the initial avalanche. No one caught, the rider saw the slides and was able to get out of the runout zone. The debris pile was 6+ feet.

24" new snow at avalanches elevation. dry powder snow observed.
