Snowing ~1 cm / hour in the morning, gradually clearing by early afternoon. 20 cm storm total new snow. Wind calm to light from the NE. 12 degrees F at 1 pm.

Pits 1 & 2: Cross Hill area, 3942', S Aspect, 17 degree Slope. HS=110 cm (Pit 1) & HS=85 cm (Pit 2) . CT28 SC x2 down 65 cm (Pit 1) and 55cm (Pit 2) on 6-9 mm BSH & facets above a melt freeze crust. ECTX x2. Boot penetration hip deep.
Pit 3: Ridge of Gold Cord Peak, 4250', ESE Aspect, 38 degree Slope. HS=55 cm. CT11 SC down 20 cm in new snow, CT20 SC down 35 cm at storm snow / old snow interface.
