Observation: Turnagain
Location: Cornbiscuit
Toured up Cornbiscuit today under bluebird skies and springtime temps. Ascent on
the SW face was through warm snow, much of it sun crusted/wind buffed. Skied a
north-facing aspect off the summit ridge. Ski cut a few turns when entering the
line, releasing multiple (~8 in. depth) wide-reaching (30′ entry zone went) fast-
moving sluff. Descent was through soft, powdery snow, warming to sticky spring
conditions as we approached the road.
