Poor visibility, but we thought there was fresh wet debris in the Orca Gully.

Heavy snowfall 12:30-3:30pm (S5), accumulated 13cm while we were out, ~40cm HN24, obscured sky, light NE wind, 0-1C air temp

Snow surface

heavy new snow, mostly unconsolidated, but settling

Snowpack

CTE within HST down 41cm PC, CTM in 2mm facets on 2mm crust RP/Q2, CTH in facets above Thanksgiving crust Q2/RP, RB3 whole block down 60cm Dec.10 crust (with multiple jumps we got the Thanksgiving crust facets to fail. We had multiple collapses and some whumphing as we broke trail through thigh to waist deep storm snow.
