Followed standard uptrack from PL on E. side highway to Center Ridge weather sta (1880ft) then SE on ridgetop to high point at 2,034ft. Skied off N. side of ridge to near Tincan Creek bottom, then back up to ridgetop and out uptrack to PL.

Obseved debris from small recent D1 sluff avalanches on S. aspect of Tincan Ridge a few hundred ft above Tincan Creek level. No sign of recent avalanches on SE aspect of Seattle Ridge. stopped by Center Ridge Weather station (pic). Snowpack depth here = 185cm.
Clear skies. N. wind gusts at Turnagain PL in am with numerous snow plumes on Seattle Ridge and Sunburst. Wind subsided considerably by pm. At 1600 was 18F with calm winds at 2000ft.
Wind affected, but still mostly loose snow from PL to 1900ft. Above there wind slab development on ridgetops (pic).
Did quick pit at 1440ft on 190deg aspect of Center Ridge, 36degslope. Total snowpack = 145cm. Pit down to 40cm. Got STE on top 5cm, wind transported snowQ2,105cmSTMQ2, 95cmSTHQ3. Ct2@135cmQ2,CT22@118cmQ3, CT23@108cmQ3,CT27@85cmQ3. ECT inconclusive as could not cut down thru M/F crust. May have been alders in the way. No sign of sun effects on S. exposures by 1600.
