Toured from Arctic Valley PL to saddle overlooking S. Fork Eagle River. Pit located on SW-facing slope of Tequila Bowl at 3406 ft.

Weather

Day after storm event. Partly cloudy, occasional winds 3-5 mph from S. Observed occasional snow plumes from ridgetop winds. At 1430 temp -10C.

Snow surface

Mixture of loose and wind transported snow at lower elevations from storm on 12/8/2018. Wind board in saddle overlooking S. fork Eagle R. Occasional gusty winds transporting snow during pit dig at 1430. Observed debris from recent storm-related? cornice break at top of Rondy Bowl, Arctic Valley Ski Area (pic attached). Observed signs of recent wind transport on ridges surrounding Arctic Valley (pic attached).

Snowpack

At Arctic Valley PL, 2700ft. 17cm storm snow. total snowpack = 35cm. At 3367ft total snowpack = 50cm. At pit site (see attached) total snowpack = 68cm. Got ECT20P on 4F layer of facets transiting to rounds over M/F crust.
