Route & General Observations

Drove through Turnagain Pass between 4pm and 5pm. Numerous new wet avalanches on Seattle Ridge (SE aspect) and including one new glide avalanche between the motorized lot and the uptrack. I count 10 new avalanches from yesterday. All were distinct due the bluish color of debris compared the older avalanches from earlier this week. The visibility on the other side of the road was too poor to distinguish any new activity.

Two new glide avalanches in Girdwood Valley – Penguin and Raggedtop
