Route & General Observations

Drove through Summit around 12:30pm. Numerous D2-3 avalanches on many prominent West facing steep Couloirs and faces.

Observer Comments

32" of new snow overnight
Active wind loading along ridge tops
Recent large to very large avalanches on Moose, Lonestar, Butch and Tri-tip all West facing and many running full path.

Moose Mt - West facing - Couldn't confirm all of the gullys had new debris, expect the path on the far right.

Moose Mt - New debris in the gully and on the SW shoulder

Lonestar West face - new debris on looker left side

Butch West aspect - the avalanche path on far left had new debris to bench above the lake

Tri-Tip West aspect- Gully on looker right had new debris to bottom of path

Strong winds blowing snow on Raven's ridge
