Route & General Observations

Seattle Ridge to Little Sweden. Dropped into 2nd Bowl. Checked out a recent large slide, note size of snowmachine in picture. Nervously traveled from 2nd to Main. Crossed recent slide path on common uptrack. Probably not the place to highmark at 4:00 pm!

Sunny, 40-45F, Calm Wind

Snow surface

Refrozen sasturugi for the most part, spring slush in very sunny areas. Deep boot penetration in the slush.

Snowpack

Deep, 300 cm probe didn’t hit ground in 2nd Bowl. Main Bowl went 260 cm to ground. Good overall snow coverage in all areas.
