The wind was forming pockets of wind slab 6”+ and light sluffing off the cliffs. Some gusts were around 30 mph.
Biked out powerline and up apron of s cooler. Crust is solid enough to bike off trail and could hold an edge.

The new snow was dense/wet and seemed to be bonding well to the surface crust on the apron. We decided to turn around though as we figured the snow would be drier higher up and possibly not bonding as well to the surface. The surface crust was supportable and ranged from only toe kicks to full sole length holds. Didn’t seem to have slide for life quality.
