Forecaster Comments

This avalanche crossed upper crow creek rd where the road is closed in the winter, above the bridge. We think this avalanche occurred near the end of the storm cycle (Sun 3/23 or Mon 3/24) before the snowpack froze on Monday night. We first learned about it on Tuesday 3/25.
